How to Manage Question Bank

Question Banks are created and managed by the Course Manager(s) of a course. The feature allows quick integration of required questions.

Note: Question Banks are unique to Course Versions.

MOTAR's Question Bank feature allows the course manager to quickly jump in and load the course with required questions without waiting for a Course Structure! These questions are accessible to the user through course assessments.

Just like adding a new question from the Assessment module, the Question Bank allows for multiple-choice questions and short answer questions.

Question Bank Access

Users who are assigned as a Course Manager are allowed to create new Question Bank questions, edit existing Question Bank questions, and delete Question Bank questions.

How to Create a Question

Go to training.motar.io.

Go to COURSES on the main toolbar. SELECT the desired course.

Go to QUESTION BANK tab on the course dashboard. SELECT the ADD QUESTION button.

Select the QUESTION TYPE (Multiple Choice or Short Answer).

Type the question in the TYPE YOUR QUESTION HERE field.

If the QUESTION TYPE is Multiple Choice, select the button and type the answer in the newly generated ENTER ANSWER field. Continue selecting button and typing answers until all answers are populated. Once all answers are populated, select the checkbox to the left of the correct answer to mark it as the correct option .

SELECT the button to save the questions in the QUESTION BANK.

Once all questions have been added, proceed with further course development as needed.

How to Edit an Existing Question

Go to training.motar.io.

Go to COURSES on the main toolbar. SELECT the desired course.

Go to QUESTION BANK tab on the course dashboard.

Locate the question that needs editing and select the button on the right side of the question.

Make modifications to the question and select the button.

How to Remove a Question

Go to training.motar.io.

Go to COURSES on the main toolbar. SELECT the desired course.

Go to QUESTION BANK tab on the course dashboard.

Locate the question that needs editing and select the button on the right side of the question.

Select the button in the pop-up window to confirm deletion of the question.

How to Add a Question from the Question Bank to an Assessment

Go to training.motar.io.

Go to COURSES on the main toolbar. SELECT the desired course.

SELECT the button.

From an ASSESSMENT MODULE, SELECT the button.

SELECT the CHECKBOX to the left of the question to be added.

SELECT the button.

Continue adding to the ASSESSMENT module as needed.
