The File Upload and Scanning Tool will launch (see link below for additional instructions, if needed). Once the scan is successfully completed, the modal can be closed and the document will be listed.
How to Use the File Screening ProcessSELECT the VIDEO TYPE (STANDARD or 360).
Studio users have access to the following listing types:
CLICK on the VIDEO icon to begin the process to create a Video Listing.
Clicking on the Video icon in the Create New Listing UI will redirect the user to the MOTAR Video Service.
Once redirected to the MOTAR Video Library, CLICK the UPLOAD VIDEO button.
CLICK the UPLOAD button and SELECT a VIDEO from the file explorer.
SELECT the VIDEO TYPE (STANDARD or 360).
LOCATE the DROPDOWN menu below the text: Who will be managing this video? SELECT the OPTION that correlates with who will be managing this video.
The user has two options to select from: (1) a Studio Group they are a member of or (2) Personal.
By selecting a Studio Group, all members of the Studio Group will be able to view and edit the listing
By selecting Personal, the listing will only populate on MOTAR Hub and the Video Library; no other users or Studio Group members will be able to edit the listing.
CLICK the NEXT button. The Permissions tab will display.
The user is required to set platform-wide permissions for all listings using the Permission Wizard tool. Additional instructions can be found at the link below.
How to Manage Listing PermissionsOnce the Permission Wizard is complete, CLICK the COMPLETE button to save the listing.
When completing the wizard, keep in mind that Course Managers can only use Video Listings that have been granted USE permissions.
If USE permissions have not been granted, the video listing will have a LOCK icon displayed on the hub to notify the user that they do not have access to view the content.
Once the COMPLETE button is selected, the user will be redirected back to the Video Library page.
To edit a video listing, CLICK on the MANAGE VIDEO link found in the ACTION column. This will trigger a Redirect warning modal advising the user that they will be redirected to MOTAR Video Service.
Once redirected, LOCATE the EDIT dropdown located below the video. SELECT the EDIT option from the dropdown menu.
This action will display the Info and Permissions tabs for the Video Listing, where desired edits can be made and saved.
To delete a Video listing, CLICK on the MANAGE VIDEO link found in the ACTION column. This will trigger a Redirect warning modal advising the user that they will be redirected to MOTAR Video Service.
Once redirected, LOCATE the EDIT dropdown located below the video. SELECT the DELETE option from the dropdown menu.
This will trigger the Confirm Action modal. To permanently delete the Video listing, CLICK the CONFIRM button.
The user will be redirected to the MOTAR Video Library. The Video Listing has been permanently deleted and will no longer be displayed.
