Users can discover and connect with colleagues using the ADD button on MOTAR Portal's COLLEAGUES section.
Clicking the ADD button will redirect the user to the FIND A USER page within Portal. Here users can search to find colleagues with PUBLIC searchability settings.

Clicking on the user's name will redirect to their profile page.
Once a connection request is sent, the colleague's Portal homepage will notify them that a connection request requires approval.
CLICKING on the COLLEAGUE'S NAME will launch an ACCEPT/REJECT Modal.
When the colleague accepts the connection request is accepted, an email will be sent to notify both users and the COLLEAGUES section on both user's MOTAR Portal homepages will be updated to reflect the connection.
If the connection request is rejected, the user's name will simply disappear from the COLLEAGUES section on both user's MOTAR Portal homepages.
To remove a colleague connection, access the colleague's profile by selecting their name from the COLLEAGUES section on Portal.
CLICK the HEART ICON. On the connection modal, SELECT the REMOVE CONNECTION WITH [username] button and then the DONE button to confirm the removal.
The COLLEAGUES section on both user's MOTAR Portal homepages will be updated to remove the connection.
To connect, CLICK the ICON. CLICK the SEND CONNECTION REQUEST TO [username] button then the DONE button to send the connection request.
Once sent, the ICON will change to an ellipses (...) and the colleague will be displayed as PENDING in the COLLEAGUES section of the user's Portal homepage.
