Notifications can be accessed by CLICKING the BELL icon on the top right of the MOTAR Web header (to the left of the user's profile photo and name).
Unread notifications will be annotated by a RED DOT located over the BELL icon.
Once clicked, the NOTIFICATIONS modal will appear below the BELL icon. This modal will display the user's most recent notifications.
CLICK the SEE ALL NOTIFICATIONS link at the bottom left of the modal to be redirected to a page that displays all notifications. Un-acknowledged notifications will be displayed at the top of the list.
Notifications can be acknowledged from two places within MOTAR Web.
CLICK the BELL icon on the top right of the MOTAR Web header (to the left of the user's profile photo and name) to launch the NOTIFICATIONS modal.
From this modal, the user can CLICK the ACKNOWLEDGE ALL link at the top right of the modal to acknowledge and clear all notifications.
Alternatively, the user can CLICK the SEE ALL NOTIFICATIONS link at the bottom left of the NOTIFICATIONS modal to be redirected to a page that displays all notifications.
Note that un-acknowledged notifications will be displayed at the top of the list.
From this page, CLICK the ACKNOWLEDGE ALL button to acknowledge all notifications or CLICK each NOTIFICATION individually to acknowledge them one at a time.
Notifications via email will be sent for events, reminders, actions required, etc. A full list of all notification types that will prompt emails can be seen in the tables below.
Emails are sent to the email address used when establishing the MOTAR Account and/or any alternative emails provided in the MOTAR Portal.
Listed in the email will be the reason for the notification as well as any pertinent links the user may need to address the notification.
There are two types of system-generated notifications: MOTAR Web Platform and email.
Notifications alert the user to different events happening with their user account on the MOTAR Platform.
Currently four MOTAR Services support notifications: Training, Portal, Video, and Studio. Specific events trigger notifications to alert the user to what is happening with their account. Specific details can be found below.
In additional to MOTAR Service support notifications, users will also receive a platform notification when their password has been reset stating, "Password has been successfully reset."
Chat notifications will be implemented in the future!
