How to Reset Password

If a user forgets their password, they can reset their password at anytime from the login screen.

Requesting a Password Reset

From the login page, CLICK on PASSWORD RESET.

The user will be directed to the password reset page where a username or email can be input.

A MOTAR Password Reset email will be sent to the user's email where they will receive a link that will redirect the user back to the platform to reset their password.

The user will be able to input and save a new password following the password requirements.

Meet Password Criteria

The password must meet the following requirements:

  • Must not have been used in the last five password changes

  • Minimum of 15 characters password long and contain:

  • 1 upper caser character

  • 1 lower caser character

  • 1 numerical character

  • 1 special character

  • Passwords must match

Users will be prompted to change their password every 60 days. A password can't be changed more than once in a 24-hour period.
