Document Listings on Hub

Create

1. As a studio user, you have access to the following listing types.

Upload Document File

2. CLICK on the DOCUMENT tile to begin the create listing process. The user will be redirected to the CREATE DOCUMENT LISTING page.
3. In the INFO tab, INPUT the listing name in the DOCUMENT LISTING NAME field.
Users can follow instructions below to create a Journal Listing, which is a subcategory of the Document Listing.
3.1. INPUT a description for the listing in the DOCUMENT DETAILS field.
3.2. CLICK the NEXT button. The PACKAGES tab will display.
4. In the PACKAGES tab, CLICK on the UPLOAD button, and SELECT a DOCUMENT FILE from your file explorer.
4.1. After the secure scanning is complete, CLICK CLOSE on the file upload modal.
4.2. INPUT the document file name in the PACKAGE NAME field.
4.3. INPUT the version number in the PACKAGE VERSION field.
4.4. CLICK the SAVE PACKAGE button.
4.5. CLICK the NEXT button. The PERMISSIONS tab will display.

Permissions

The user is required to set platform-wide permissions for this listing using the Permission Wizard tool.
5. CLICK the LAUNCH button to run the Permissions Wizard. Full instructions can be found at the link below.
5.1. When completing the wizard, please keep in mind that course managers can only use document listings in their courses if the content has been granted USE permissions.
If DISCOVER permissions have not been granted, the listing will have a LOCK icon displayed on the MOTAR Hub to notify the user that they do not have access to view the content.
5.2. Once permissions have been set, CLICK the SAVE button to save all requested changes and create the Document Listing.
6. The new Document Listing will be displayed at the top of the MY CURRENT LISTINGS table, which can be accessed from the MOTAR Studio MY LISTINGS page.

Edit

1. To edit a Document Listing, CLICK the PENCIL icon in the ACTION column in the MY CURRENT LISTINGS table. The table can be accessed from the MOTAR Studio MY LISTINGS page.
2. Make any desired changes in the INFO, PACKAGES, and/or PERMISSIONS tabs. The user can navigate between tabs by either CLICKING the TAB TITLE or CLICKING the NEXT button.
If the user desires to update permissions settings, CLICK the LAUNCH button in the PERMISSIONS tab to run the Permissions Wizard. Full instructions can be found at the link below.
3. Once desired edits have been made, CLICK the UPDATE button to save all requested changes and update the Document Listing.
4. The new Document Listing will be displayed at the top of the MY CURRENT LISTINGS table, which can be accessed from the MOTAR Studio MY LISTINGS page.

Delete

1. To delete a Document Listing, CLICK the TRASH CAN icon in the ACTION column in the MY CURRENT LISTINGS table. A Confirm Action modal will be displayed.
1.1. To permanently delete the Document Listing, TYPE the word DELETE in the text field.
1.2. CLICK the DELETE button.
2. The user will be returned to the MOTAR Studio MY LISTINGS page. The Document Listing has been deleted and will no longer be displayed in the MY CURRENT LISTINGS table.
